ABS PARTNERS LLC ("Absoluto Parfum", "we", "us") collects only the personal information needed to process your orders, support you and improve our store, and we never sell your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and the rights you have, wherever you live.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, order details, and messages you send to customer support (including by WhatsApp).
  • Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers through a secure, PCI-compliant checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring website and similar data, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Information from third parties: data from our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, fraud-prevention services and shipping carriers, and from social networks if you interact with us there.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship and deliver your orders, and to handle returns and refunds
  • To communicate with you about your order and respond to your requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud and protect the security of our store
  • To send marketing emails, only where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time
  • To analyze and improve our website and products
  • To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations

We process personal information to perform our contract with you (orders), on the basis of our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, store improvement), with your consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and to comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Shopify, which hosts our online store and checkout
  • Payment processors, to process payments and prevent fraud
  • Our fulfillment warehouse in China and shipping carriers, which receive your name, shipping address, phone number and order contents to deliver your order and process returns
  • Analytics and advertising providers (such as Google and Meta), subject to your cookie choices
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell personal information. You can opt out of the sharing of your information for targeted advertising at any time (see Your rights).

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store (for example, to keep items in your cart) and, with your consent where required, analytics and marketing cookies. You can manage cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, our orders are fulfilled from China, and our service providers may process data in other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision, including the United States and China, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, and we transfer only the data needed to fulfill your order.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years). Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, as defined by U.S. state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act

We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law (generally 30 days under the GDPR and 45 days under U.S. state laws). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

Our website uses an SSL certificate (HTTPS), and payments are processed on a PCI-compliant checkout. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Our store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
